What we collect and why

• Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which features are used and where people get stuck, so we can improve the tool. It sets cookies and collects standard analytics data such as pages viewed and rough location.
• Session recordings and heatmaps. We use Microsoft Clarity, which records how the interface is used (clicks, mouse movement and scrolling) so we can see where the editor is confusing. Clarity masks text you type by default. We do not use it to identify you.
• Your email address. We collect it when you create an account, and when you ask us to email you a copy of an exported plan. Emails are delivered through Resend.
• Your plans. Plans you create are stored on our backend so you can come back to them. If you are not signed in, a guest plan is stored anonymously against a random browser session id, not against a person.

Cookies

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set cookies to measure usage. These are not required to draw a plan. You can turn them off below or through your browser settings.

Who processes your data

We rely on a few third parties to run the service: Google (analytics), Microsoft (Clarity), Base44 (application hosting and backend), and Resend (transactional email). These providers are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there.

Your choices

You can opt out of analytics and session recording at any time. Opting out stops both Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity from loading on this device. You can also enable Do Not Track in your browser. To request access to or deletion of your data, email support@spaceplanner.co.

Retention, children and changes

We keep analytics data only as long as it is useful for improving the product, and we keep your account data while your account exists. SpacePlanner is not directed at children. We may update this policy; when we do, we will change the effective date above. Questions go to support@spaceplanner.co.
