We hire on the work, not on the paperwork. If you want to draw plans with us, the way in is a short practical test: you recreate a real plan in the SpacePlanner editor and we look at what you produced.
Here is the whole process, honestly. You give us your email address. We send you a ticket with a reference plan and a brief of what is required. You open the editor from the link in that email, recreate the plan, and submit it. Jimmy reads it and replies. You never create an account, you never pay anything, and you never install anything.

How the test works
Four steps, start to finish. Nothing hidden behind a signup wall.
Leave your email
One field, no account, no CV. We reply with a short confirmation so you know it arrived.
Get your ticket
Jimmy sends you a ticket by email: a reference plan, a brief of exactly what is required, and a link that opens the editor.
Recreate the plan
Draw it in the SpacePlanner editor in your own time. Walls, doors, windows, furniture, room labels, the same tools everyone else uses.
Submit it for review
Hit submit inside the editor. Jimmy reads every submission himself and replies by email.
Marking
What we are looking for
No trick questions. The brief tells you what is required and we check the plan against it.
- The plan matches the brief. The rooms asked for are there, in roughly the right places, at roughly the right sizes.
- The dimensions are sane. Doors people can walk through, corridors that are not a squeeze, furniture that fits the room it sits in.
- It is tidy. Walls meet, rooms are labelled, and someone else could pick the plan up and read it.
- You noticed the details. The brief has small requirements in it, and we look at whether they made it into the drawing.

No account, ever
The editor opens anonymously from your ticket link. There is no password to set and no profile to fill in.
Unpaid, and short
The test is a sample plan, not client work, and it is not used commercially. Most people finish in one to two hours.
A real reply
Every submission gets read and answered by email, whichever way the answer goes.
Never used the editor? You do not have to wait for a ticket to try it. Open the floor planner and draw something first.
